Dr. Gabriel Serrano Foundation: health, education and global dignity

The Dr. Gabriel Serrano Foundation promotes health, education and dignity in vulnerable communities with global social commitment.

The Dr. Gabriel Serrano Foundation was created as a natural extension of its founder’s life philosophy: placing people at the center. This charitable initiative channels decades of medical, human, and social commitment into projects aimed at improving health, education, and living conditions for vulnerable communities.

The Dominican Republic holds a special place in Dr. Serrano’s history since childhood, when he traveled to Bayahibe with his father to provide free medical care. Today, this bond remains alive through the Dr. Gabriel Serrano Sanmiguel Foundation and the Gabriel Serrano Medical Clinic in Bayahibe.

The Foundation’s work extends internationally: in Bali, creating employment opportunities for women with limited resources; in Mexico, supporting women who are victims of acid attacks; and in Colombia, promoting educational and healthcare initiatives in communities with limited access to basic services.

One of the Foundation’s fundamental pillars is education, fostering ethical, humane, and socially responsible medicine. Its conviction is clear: health, education, and dignity should not be privileges, but universal rights.
